Did you know? A new broker survey found that 9 out of 10 brokers expect their Non-QM volume to keep growing over the next 12 to 24 months, and 74.5% say it's already climbing today.

The survey polled over 250 brokers and found that self-employed borrowers and real estate investors are driving most of that growth, with DSCR and investor loans leading the way in what brokers recommend as Non-QM.

Non-QM isn't just a backup plan anymore. It's becoming the strategy for brokers who want to stay ahead.

Some files test you. This one taught us something.

A broker came to us with a borrower who didn't fit the standard box — strong assets, no traditional income, and an investment property purchase riding on it. Every lender before us passed. We didn't.

We qualified the deal the right way, locked in terms that worked, and closed in 4 days — 12 days ahead of a 16-day escrow deadline.

This wasn't our first deal with this broker. It won't be our last.
