Why do I have ad’s about Indian wedding, vacation in Miami, Fl and no friends posts? What the heck are the Facebook/media Oligarchy doing now? I’m starting to ask why I’m here? Maybe I don’t need this form of communication anymore.

Covid-19 has gotten many people anxious and if it didn’t have a direct effect last week we are now all a directly affected. These are uncertain times for many people. Our tax office is open as many people will need their tax refund to survive this.
We have clients who live or work world-wide. One of us in the office has a family member in Asia. We are gathering information from sources other than news and then comparing the information we get.
As for flattening the curve, Viet Nam has done a great job of that. They suspended schools in early January and closed all public events. Currently they have only had 61 cases with 17 of them being foreigners. They are requiring everyone to wear facemasks in public although they haven’t been proven effective in combating Covid-19. People are not allowed in large groups.
Taiwan has also been able to maintain a low number of cases to 77 of which 50 of them had recently traveled. Even though Taiwan is a Chinese province the new reports are more believable then those of mainland China.
Although I personally think the hording of supplies is excessive it must bring comfort to those who are doing it. Just please remember, office like ours and others that remain open need supplies too as well as the elderly and those at health risk. If you buy them all and do not stay in your home you are risking catching something as some out their will not have supplies to clean up. If you are hoarding for profit you are a sad person.
