After seeing enough examples of renewals and new quotes alike, I am finally ready to make an official announcement.

I am MORE-THAN-CAUTIOUSLY OPTIMISTIC that Champaign County is going to see some decreases on the auto insurance side for new quotes and renewals after 06/24. Noticeable, felt decreases, folks.

That's not to say you won't see good news if you live elsewhere, but we are really seeing some big swings here in the 217.

CURRENT CUSTOMERS: Keep an eye on your renewals following the June 24th date.

PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS: Now is the time to get a quote. I'll have to post-date it to 6/24 but right now I feel better about the cost than I have the last 24 months.

The NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) did a study showing crash rates jumping from 2.4% with proper tread on tires to 26% for worn-out tires?

If it has been a while, it's worth grabbing a quarter and doing the old George Washington forehead test to see if it's time!
