AETA’s own Aaron Prososki (Cooperator Committee chair; Sunshine Genetics Embryo Transfer Service) was featured in the September U.S. Livestock Genetics Export, Inc Update for his recent work in Tanzania! 🥳🇹🇿

In March-April 2026, Aaron traveled to Tanzania in collaboration with the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) and the Wisconsin Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory. The mission included seminars and farm visits covering U.S. dairy and beef genetics, artificial insemination, embryo transfer, recipient management, milk quality, nutrition, husbandry, and pregnancy testing.

Visits to government and private farms revealed strong interest in adopting advanced reproductive technologies, and nutrition and animal husbandry emerged as key challenges to address so that embryo transfer programs can reach their full potential. The trip also highlighted the National artificial insemination centre( NAIC) as an important partner for future embryo projects.

Congratulations to Aaron on this well-deserved recognition and on his work advancing embryo transfer internationally! 👏
