Coming changes to our local DSHS office

Exciting changes are coming to better serve our community!
The Chehalis Community Services Office is moving to a new, temporary home just down the road.

Starting June 30, 2025, our current location on NE Hampe Way in Chehalis will close. Beginning July 1, 2025, you can find us at 1247 Harrison Ave., Centralia, WA 98531—less than six miles away. This will be our temporary location for about a year while we plan for a new, permanent home.

Here’s what you need to know:
• Current Location: Open for in-person services until 3 p.m. on Monday, June 30, 2025.
• New Location: Services at the Centralia site will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday, starting July 1.

What happens on July 1?
While we prepare the new building for our staff, our Mobile Office Teams will be at the Centralia location to assist customers. You can also:
• Call the Customer Service Contact Center at (877) 501-2233.
• Access services online at WashingtonConnection.org.
• Visit nearby CSOs using the DSHS Office Locator on our website.

This move is necessary as our lease at the current location ends. We’re working hard to make this transition as smooth as possible for you.
