📢 BIG NEWS FOR MEDICARE BENEFICIARIES!
Starting July 1, 2026, a new Medicare GLP-1 Bridge Program may help eligible Medicare beneficiaries access certain weight-loss medications for just $50 per month.
Covered medications may include:
✔️ Wegovy®
✔️ Zepbound® (KwikPen®)
✔️ Foundayo®
You may qualify if you:
✅ Have Medicare Part D or a Medicare Advantage plan with prescription drug coverage
✅ Meet certain BMI and health condition requirements
✅ Do not already qualify for these medications under Medicare for another covered diagnosis (such as Type 2 diabetes)
💲 Cost: A flat $50 copay for a 30-day supply.
Important to know:
• This is a temporary CMS demonstration program running July 1, 2026 – December 31, 2027.
• Your doctor must determine if you qualify and submit a prior authorization to CMS.
• The $50 copay is outside of your regular Part D benefit, so it does not apply toward your Part D deductible or annual out-of-pocket costs.
