We are thrilled to announce Mike Rucker as a new speaker with MidAmerica Speakers Bureau. A St. Joseph, Missouri, native and proud Nebraska Blackshirt, Mike helped lead the Cornhuskers to three national championships before going on to a standout nine-year NFL career with the Carolina Panthers. Today, he brings audiences a powerful blend of championship experience, practical leadership insight, and a grounded Midwest perspective that connects equally well with all types of organizations, including schools, nonprofits, associations, faith-based groups, and companies.

Drawing from his experiences as a Pro Bowl player, Super Bowl starter, NFL Legends executive, community leader, and servant to others, Mike delivers meaningful, actionable messages on leadership, character, resilience, and purpose that audiences can apply immediately in their own organizations and lives.

If you are looking for a speaker who can inspire, challenge, and encourage your audience with real-world lessons from the highest levels of competition, leadership, and service, Mike Rucker is an outstanding choice for your next event. We would love the opportunity to visit with you about bringing Mike to your school, nonprofit, association, conference, or company meeting.

With the Winter Olympics officially wrapped up, it's the perfect time to bring in two-time Olympic medalist in the four-man bobsled Curt Tomasevicz to speak at your school assembly, chamber/association meeting, or company conference!

Learn about Curt's upbringing in small-town Nebraska, to playing football for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and then pivoting to the unlikely sport of bobsledding. His signature speech, "Have No Fear," is a deep dive into what it takes to succeed in all aspects of life—including standing on top of a mountain in spandex, preparing to ride a rocket made out of fiberglass and carbon fiber at 90 mph with his three teammates.

Curt does a fantastic job of tailoring his speech to focus on any theme to match an organization's event, because if you can overcome a fear of the dangers of bobsledding, you can overcome any fear—big or small. He closes his speech by showing a highlight reel of when he and his team raced the Night Train to the first American four-man Olympic gold in 62 years, taking questions from audience members, and passing around his gold and silver medals for people to hold and take pictures with—what an experience!

Curt recently returned from the Olympics held in Italy. He is the Director of Sport Performance for USA Bobsled/Skeleton, so be sure to reach out to MidAmerica Speakers Bureau today to get him booked for your next event and learn what it takes to truly "Have No Fear!"

Adam Carriker delivering his signature keynote entitled "Belief" at the Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation – Making the Connection Conference in Kearney, NE. Adam does an outstanding job of sharing his story from playing quarterback (and rarely on defense, can you imagine?!) on his high school football team that went 2-34 from his freshman to senior year, to being a walk-on for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, to then playing eight years in the NFL with numerous accolades along the way (voted The Best Husker Defensive End since the start of the new millennium, and has been inducted into the Nebraska Football Hall of Fame to name a few). Without the belief from others, especially his mom and dad, and the belief he eventually found inside himself, none of his success may have happened.

He also ties belief into life outside of football—I mean if you've got six kids, family is bound to get brought up! Some eyes welled up as he told the story about how one of his daughters had a traumatic event that could've ended without a happy ending, but thankfully, it didn't.

A big thank you to Megahn Schafer with Farm Bureau for putting on a wonderful conference and to the Younes Center for providing a phenomenal brisket sandwich!

If you're looking for an inspirational speech that mixes sports, humor, family, and overcoming adversity, look no farther than booking Adam Carriker for your next event!

Curt Tomasevicz, USA Gold and Silver bobsled medalist, who hails from the small town of Shelby, Nebraska, spoke last week at the Nebraska Women’s Correctional Center in York, NE. He was extremely well received and delivered a very thoughtful, interesting, humble and inspiring message. MidAmerica Speakers Bureau was the sponsor. They have now provided 45 speakers for this facility since 2016, all free of charge. As one inmate put it, “They are our lifeline to the outside world and we absolutely love having them here! Their messages inspire us to want to do better in life and to become productive citizens once we are released.” Thank you Curt, for your time, caring, and attention toward the incarcerated in our state.
