Do not fall for the trap of Amendment 1. Locking up more people in jail sounds great until it’s you or a loved one who is denied bail. Amendment 1 gives the government way too much power and the ability to hold people without bail for an expansive list of additional crimes. Once you vote away your right to bail, you will never get it back. The Tennessee constitution was not designed to keep us safe from each other. It was designed to keep us safe from an overreaching government. Don’t forget that on November 3.
