My Sweetie was gifted something very special on this trip from our lovely sister-in-law, Hazel Dalgleish Johnson. This gorgeous shirt she had bought for Greg Cutcliff that he only got to wear one time. And now that Craig Cutcliff has got a new band in the works, he will have an opportunity to perform in it in honor of his twin brother! And I can’t wait for Hazel to see Craig wearing it with pride while he is gigging and channeling Gregory. We have spent some very treasured time together and this shirt means so very much! I am regularly reminded how deeply blessed I am to be married to My Angel, Craig Cutcliff! He has been such a steady presence in my world, and has inspired me greatly kicking Stage 4 colon cancer’s butt.

Today, he took me for my preop appointment for my first of two knees needing to be replaced. The nurse was LOVELY -but as she read through my whole history of ailments, conditions, surgeries, etc…I broke down and wept. I felt like such a hot mess at the tender age of 58.
All I want is to have my strong and vibrant body and lifestyle back - and it’s humbling.

And what did Craig say to me when I apologized hoping I hadn’t embarrassed him? “You are amazing and I love you! You have had to overcome so much and I am proud of you!” “You are just looking at this all wrong - you have come so far and you will get there one step at a time!”

And I love him so! And here I go! Chin up! One step at a time!

Today I was surprised to receive a special gift from a lovely client. I really wish she knew I just loved helping her…but these flowers are truly magnificent and they smell amazing! When I called to tell her how much it meant to me (and that she is never to spend her money on me again)…she told me this is her absolute favorite florist, and every opportunity she gets, she sends flowers from them!
WELL…isn’t that my wheelhouse to want to pay that light forward?!
Black+Blossomed is a small local business that I will personally be supporting from now on, and I certainly hope others will as well!

I am especially inspired by the owners and their amazing journey to elevate Black art, culture, and representation in a field that has not had enough diversity in its history.

This has been a double present for me today! I hope you will support these lovely owners and show gratitude to someone who makes a difference in your world!

Thank you, Susan Loyacono, for this! We started 2024 on a cruise to the Bahamas thinking it was a perfect way to start out 2024 - and came home with Covid! So we are definitely going with the free trial and starting in February!

This third grade class of “My Babies” is the graduating Class of 2024! And they truly have a special place in my heart as we all grew a lot together that year. If I were to publish another book, it would be “The Magical Room of Choices” book about all of these kids, their families, the culture of empathy and “Growth Mindset” we cultivated together. How each of us hung our favorite quote in the room, we supported each other, we adopted the Director of Security to come and read to us after the Arapahoe tragedy and created a special bond with him, and my students helped me navigate my mom battling cancer.
I am still on so many of their journeys - and they are on mine. And I feel so blessed that they were the last third grade class I got to teach before being moved to second grade! This will remain my profile picture until they all graduate! I can’t wait to attend a lot of parties this year! Love these guys so much!

Looks like our pups did not miss us one bit thanks to the great care from Auntie Stephanie Russo, Auntie Kellenie Lopez, and Auntie Susan Krepp! They had sleepovers, got to attend Tucker’s Big Dog Birthday Party, and played and played!
We could never have enjoyed our time away without knowing our babies were getting so much love! We are forever grateful to such great “Aunties!” xoxo

We will forever carry with us the love and graciousness of these exceptional musicians Cruze Control! We didn’t regret for one minute skipping our Dining Time to sit and listen to all of their individual and collective talents!
Craig and I are also very grateful that they entrusted him to jump in and play several times on this trip - and that is something we will truly treasure!
We hope our paths will cross again with these great human beings! They will always have a special place in our hearts and will always be welcome in our home! Thank you, Cruze Control! You truly rock in every way! xoxo
