October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and it's a good reminder that scammers are getting pretty convincing.
A text says there's suspicious activity on your account. An email tells you to "verify" your information. A caller claims there's an urgent problem that needs to be fixed right now.
Before you click, respond, or share any information—stop.
⚠️ Don't click unexpected links.
⚠️ Never share passwords, PINs, or verification codes.
⚠️ Be suspicious of anyone creating a sense of urgency.
⚠️ When in doubt, contact your bank using a phone number or website you know is legitimate.
