🚨 FTC (Federal Trade Commission) Scam Alert: Don’t Let Fraudsters Fool You 🚨
Scammers are out there pretending to be financial institutions, fraud departments, and card support teams. They may even state they are from the Federal Government and are here to help. They may mention suspicious debit card activity, well-known stores, or urgent account issues to make the message sound real.
Here’s the rule of thumb: if someone contacts you out of the blue and asks for sensitive information, money movement, or a verification code: stop, pause, and call us directly.
Dynamic FCU will never ask for your full card number, PIN, online banking password, or one-time verification code by phone, text, or email.
We will also never ask you to transfer money, buy gift cards, send funds through a payment app, or move money to a “safe” account. Spoiler alert: a “safe account” suggested by a scammer is not safe.
If something feels off:
✅ Don’t share personal or account information
✅ Don’t click links in unexpected texts or emails
✅ Don’t trust caller ID just because it looks local
