A parking-lot bump and a stolen car involve two different parts of an auto policy. Do you know which is which?
• Collision generally helps cover damage to your vehicle from a crash with another vehicle or object, or a rollover.
• Comprehensive, sometimes called “other than collision,” generally helps cover losses such as theft, vandalism, fire, windstorm or flood.
Both depend on the coverage you carry, your policy’s terms and any applicable deductible. Having liability insurance alone doesn’t mean either is included.
Before your next drive around Celebration or Davenport, check your declarations page for these coverages and their deductibles.
