Last Wednesday was a rewarding day giving back to our community ❤️

Our Retail Regional Managers had the privilege of volunteering at AFIL, where we prepared and served lunch to around 60 veterans. We fired up the grill for burgers and hot dogs and, more importantly, had the honor of spending time with and serving those who have served our country. 🇺🇸

AFIL (Americans for Independent Living Veteran Resource Center) is an incredible organization in the Cedar Valley area, supporting veterans and their families with safe housing, valuable resources, and the skills they need to thrive.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of such meaningful work and to support those who have given so much. 💙

As we reflect on Memorial Day and the sacrifices made by so many who have served our country, we’re reminded that some of those stories are closer to home than we may realize.

Behind the technology that supports our Collins members are individuals who have served something bigger, too.

Jeremy recently returned home from deployment and continues his service as an Infantry Platoon Sergeant in the Army National Guard. His teammate in IT, Mark, proudly served nine years in the U.S. Navy.

While many members may never meet them, their dedication, leadership, and commitment help strengthen our credit union every day.

We’re proud to welcome Jeremy home and deeply grateful for the service that he, Mark, and many others have given - and continue to give - to our country. 🇺🇸
