A small business in my hometown just received their 2026 health insurance renewal, and it’s shocking!!
They’re a 3-person group: the owners (a married couple) and one employee, each with one child.
They currently pay $3,439 per month for their BCBS plan. That’s over $40,000 a year for just two family policies.
Their renewal is increasing by 22%, raising their premium to $4,224 per month, which pushes them past $50,000 a year. And to make things worse, their current representative hasn’t been helpful or responsive.
Only one person in the group uses coverage regularly for larger medical needs, yet they’re all paying the price.
I’m moving them to a private plan that lets them keep their PPO network, keep similar deductible options, get a responsive rep (me), gain more upfront value like critical illness and accident benefits, and save almost 65% every month.
This is a MASSIVE win for them!
‼️PSA: Traditional group plans are expensive, and they are not your only option. If you’re a small business owner, there are better, more affordable solutions available! You don’t have to suffer!! ‼️
I need your help spreading this info to anyone you know in this same boat!! Realistically this is common for most small businesses!
