Medicare Supplement premiums are increasing. Remember, these plans are month-to-month contracts with insurance companies, and all plans offer the same standardized coverage. Make sure you're not overpaying.

There is always a downside to "helping".

The inflation reduction act has already caused Medicare Part D premiums to skyrocket. It capped medication costs covered by part D plans to $2,000 by shifting the responsibility to insurance companies. The insurance companies now have extra costs and then pass that cost on to consumers through higher premiums and higher prescription drug costs. Premiums for Medicare Part D are higher then in past years seniors are paying more. Premiums will continue to increase across the board effecting other parts of Medicare and seniors are going to feel the brunt of this.

The changes are coming for 2025. Plans will be going away and coverages with specific carriers will be going away. There will be reduced options for drug plans. Make sure you talk with someone who understands these changes. I will be hosting an event September, October, and November at Tatum Ranch HOA at 29811 N Tatum Blvd, Cave Creek.
