This is GREAT ADVICE.
I'll never forget me & my dad in Corpus Christi one damp, coldish, winter day getting into the family Honda Accord. We kick the heater on and next thing you know all of the windows started fogging up on the inside. We were doing everything we thought we knew to try and see through the windshield (never mind the fact he was driving at the time π³).
What we finally realized was these "newer" cars (it was 1990) had this recirculation button that had previously been on, and it was blasting all of the heat and creating a great foggy mess.
What did we learn that cold, damp day.
- turn on the heater
- make sure the recirculation button is off
- if you need to defrost your windows, push the A/C button (yes, the A/C draws the moisture out)
My best word of advice this coming cold snap. Get all your errands done prior, stay cuddle up at home (preferably by a fireplace), and stay off the roads.
One small button can trap winter humidity and blur the windshield. Fresh air and dry heat keep the road crisp and calm in traffic. The post Donβt Press This Button in Your Car During Winter appeared first on Modern Teen.
