We were deeply saddened to learn of the tragic fire that took place at Gilmore Home Center yesterday. Gilmore’s has always been a place the community can depend on, the importance of the entire team at Gilmore’s cannot be overstated, it would not be possible to find a group as hard working, knowledgeable, caring, and skilled as the Gilmore’s team.

We certainly are extending our thoughts and prayers to the whole Gilmore Team during this time of tragedy, and ask that everyone else keep them in your thoughts and prayers, as well.

A place like Gilmore’s has provided our community so much support over the decades they have served as so much more than just our local hardware store, there has never been a more needed time for all of us to repay that support.

Last week we were presented with the “Best of The Lakes Region” award for insurance providers!

We are truly grateful for the recognition from our loyal clients. Personal relationships and real connections have been the backbone of our business for nearly 60 years. We are extremely proud to serve the Lakes Region and beyond, our entire staff calls this area home and it is truly a special area to be a part of.

Thank you again to all of our clients, especially those who thought highly enough of us to nominate and vote for us.

We would like to extend a sincere congratulations to the Wood Family and Woodnotch Farms for celebrating 50 years of farming in Vermont!

We had a wonderful time on the farm this weekend helping them celebrate, including the opportunity to check out some cattle and farm equipment!

The role farmers play in our community is invaluable, not only do they work long hours day after day to produce the food we all count on, but, they are school board members and town officials, they are involved in their local churches and communities, and they are the neighbor who is always willing to lend a hand when you need it the most. The Wood Family is a perfect example of what farmers mean to our community and we are very thankful to have families like them around.

There is nothing that really can compare to spending a day on the water, and we finally have some nice enough weather to really enjoy it.
