After yesterday's inauguration, it's more important than ever to know and understand your rights in the state of Maine. Our friends at GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders - GLAD Law have put together a comprehensive list of resources and commonly asked questions for transgender folks and q***r students, which we've compiled on our blog for your convenience: https://www.outmaine.org/glad-law-resources-for-trans-folks-and-students/

And we also have an informational flyer with an overview of Maine's current laws and policies regarding LGBTQ+ rights in education which you can download and read here: https://www.outmaine.org/an-overview-of-maines-current-laws-policies-on-lgbtq-rights-in-education/

While we cannot offer legal advice, we can offer support and direct you to legal resources if needed. So please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions in the coming months as more legislation arises. We're here with you and we're not going anywhere; you're not alone in this. 🌈
