Dear Gary Wood,

Thank you so much for your generosity toward our students and for funding our writing project. We have started working on writing in our writer's notebooks already this year, and these materials will give us extra activities to sharpen our writing skills.

I am specifically eager to use the poetry and photographs to initiate personal writing for the students. We will also use the "Texts and Lessons" to look at what published writers do to create great writing and try those things in our own work.

Again, I cannot express enough how grateful I am for your donation. It is truly amazing.
