January’s Moore County Farm Bureau Athlete of the Month - Presented By: Josh Leviner, Agency Manager, Carthage Office
Congratulations Kingsley Donaldson - January’s Union Pines High School Farm Bureau Athlete of the Month!
Kingsley averaged 27.5 Points and 11 Rebounds in the month of January, and surpassed 1,000 Career Points and 500 Career Rebounds!
Farm Bureau Athletes of the Month and Week are first nominated by their coaches and then selected by the Athletics Department for the recognition.
To qualify, students must not only approach their sport with excellence, but also their academics. They have demonstrated leadership both on and off the courts and fields of competition. They are true sportsman, in both success and defeat. They demonstrate discipline, strong work ethics, and team building influence.
As a former student-athlete, I know all too well the hard work and discipline required to succeed scholastically and athletically. Carry these qualities and experiences with you throughout life and nothing will be impossible!
I am proud of what you have accomplished and challenge you to have dreams so big they scare you, treat failures as opportunities to learn, and never forget to have fun on the journey!
