The Georgia Farm Bureau Cultivate & Educate Ag in the Classroom Grant is now accepting applications! Ten educators will receive $500 grants to help bring agricultural literacy and hands-on learning opportunities to their students. 🌱📖

A Legacy That Comes Full Circle

Congratulations to BJ & Cathy Raines of Possum Trot Farms, our 2025 Farm Family of the Year!

With roots dating back to 1947, their farm represents generations of dedication to agriculture. Even more special—Bill Raines was the first-ever Farm Family Award recipient in 1962.

As many of you know, the ongoing drought has impacted communities across our state, and wildfires are affecting South Georgia!

In an effort to provide relief and support to firefighters and those impacted, our Young Farmers & Ranchers and Women’s Leadership Committees are partnering with other districts to collect donations.

We are collecting donations April 24th – April 30th at our office to help provide relief.
