This Black History Month, Lavette Group honors the legacy of Charles Clinton Spaulding—a pioneer in the insurance industry and a blueprint for what it means to protect community.

As president of North Carolina Mutual Life Insurance Company, Spaulding helped build one of the largest Black-owned insurance companies in the world.
