The John Edward Rath Charitable Foundation (“JRCF”) is pleased to announce the award of $400,000 to worthy causes. The terms of the JRCF require that the income from the charitable foundation go 50% to prechosen beneficiaries and 50% to competitive grants for the benefit of Crawford County citizens. The advisory board for the foundation met on February 9th to make the grant determinations. On March 12th, the JRCF held a Grant Presentation Reception for the various grantees at the Majestic Golf Course in Denison. Grants totaling $400,000 were given, as shown below:
