New chapter, and I couldn't be more pumped about it. I've officially joined Rate as VP of Mortgage Lending, and I'm going all-in on becoming the best Loan Officer I can possibly be!

Negotiating the sells price can be a waste of time and money.. DO THIS INSTEAD! Everyone’s situations is different but most of the time getting seller concessions to help with closing cost can get you in a home much faster and cheaper on day one. Another first-time homebuyer officially closed in Westfield!

The snowstorm is over, and people are ready to move. The market is heating back up, and this family stepped in at the right time.

The market does not just react to bad news. It reacts to uncertainty.

For the past year, the Fed has repeatedly pointed to instability and trade policy as reasons to stay cautious. When policy feels unpredictable, bond markets demand higher yields. Higher yields mean higher mortgage rates.

If the tariff authority gets limited and markets sense more stability, that could ease inflation expectations and slowly bring rates down. Not dramatically. Not overnight. But even small shifts matter.

This is not a rate crash moment. It is a potential step toward calm. And calm is good for buyers and agents alike.
