Last week, the Merchants Capital team laced up once again for the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge—the world’s largest corporate running event.

Celebrating its 50th year, the Challenge continues to bring teams from around the world together to walk, jog, or run—building connections and giving back to the communities we call home.

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming clients and partners to the newest addition to Merchants’ Carmel, Indiana campus—the building that now serves as the official headquarters of Merchants Capital—during our Grand Opening Celebration.

While our formal ribbon‑cutting ceremony took place in October, this gathering provided a meaningful opportunity to share our new space with those whose trust and collaboration have been instrumental to our continued growth.

Recently, our Merchants Capital Headquarters team had the honor of celebrating a milestone that was both joyful and bittersweet as our Providence Cristo Rey High School (PCR) interns closed one chapter and stepped confidently into the next.

Over the past few years, their presence has strengthened our work, inspired our team, and enriched our culture. While we’ll miss having them with us, we are incredibly proud of all they’ve accomplished and excited to see them begin their college journeys.

The Merchants Capital team left the 2026 National Women’s Affordable Housing Network (WAHN) Summit deeply inspired and energized. We were honored to support this incredible gathering and stand alongside hundreds of passionate leaders dedicated to elevating women’s voices and shaping the future of affordable housing.

From meaningful conversations to powerful shared insights, every moment underscored the value of collaboration and purpose‑driven work across the industry. It was inspiring to see the conference opened by Julia Kaercher, WAHN VP of Strategic Partnership, and to hear the thoughtful perspectives shared by Jess Cherepski, President of NY WAHN, and Linda Hill during their respective panels. We also extend our congratulations to WAHN Director of Media Strategy & PR, Nina Galluzzo, for being recognized in this year's class of WAHN’s 50 Over 50: Women of Influence in Affordable Housing.

Overall, our team is grateful for the connections made, the ideas exchanged, and the momentum we’re carrying forward.

We are already looking forward to reconnecting next year at the 2027 National WAHN Summit in Chicago!
