EVP, Originations Marsha Goff was honored to attend and speak at the recent groundbreaking ceremony for Alpine Senior Apartments—a new affordable senior community being developed by Völker Development, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI.

When complete, Alpine Senior Apartments will provide 52 thoughtfully designed one- and two-bedroom homes for seniors age 55 and older, along with amenities and supportive services designed to foster connection, comfort, and wellbeing.

We are grateful to celebrate this important step alongside the partners making this community possible and look forward to seeing Alpine Senior Apartments come to life!

The Merchants Capital team enjoyed a productive few days in Chicago at the Midwest Lenders Association 2026 Conference, connecting with industry peers, exchanging ideas, and gaining valuable perspectives on the opportunities and challenges shaping our industry.

A highlight of the conference was seeing Lee Oller and Jim Green take the stage for an engaging panel discussion, sharing their insights and perspectives with fellow industry professionals.
