2022 New Loan Limits are here! In some high cost area's like the Bay Area, CA you can now purchase a $1 Million dollar home with only 5% down. Reach out to find your counties new loan limit, could make it easier to purchase a home or refinance some cash out for renovations, kids college fund, etc.

National reports are showing an increasing number of cities are having a steep incline of rental demands for Single Family Residences. New lease effective rents are up 6% YOY in July,, exceeding the 3% YOY historical average according to the Burns Single Family Rent Index. Wonderful news for home buyers! The Conventional loan limit for 2022 has been announced. The Conventional loan limit for 2021 was $548,250 and the new loan limit has been increased to $625,000 Nationwide!

How does that effect home buyers? If you borrowed more than $548,250 you would have to go with a Jumbo loan which sometimes have higher rates and restrictions. However, now you would be able to put the minimum down on a $625,000 property without having to go with a Jumbo loan product.

Here is more great news! Typically, these loan limit changes do not take effect until January 1st of the next year. However, at Kal Financial we are already honoring this loan limit change, effectively immediately!
