I attended Eastern Illinois University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in business. In addition, I have received the CFP®, ChFC® and CLU® professional designations. The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. awards the CFP® certification to individuals who meet the board's extensive requirements for professionalism in financial services. To gain certification, a financial advisor must pass the CFP® Certification Examination, the CFPs Board's Fitness Standards, agree to abide by the CFP Board's Code of Ethics, and continue to comply with the Financial Planning Practice Standards. Involved in the community, I have chaired the volunteer committee for the Alzheimer's Association's South Central Illinois "Walk To End Alzheimer's."
