Big changes are coming to how home appraisals are reported – and most buyers and Realtors haven’t heard about it yet.

UAD 3.6 is a new appraisal reporting standard being rolled out across the industry. It’s designed to bring more data, more clarity, and more consistency to the process. The full mandate hits November 2026.

What does this mean for you? More transparency is good but any transition also creates an adjustment period – and the people who prepare now will navigate it better.
