This year, we were honored to attend the 9th Annual David Cavalieri Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament.

This scholarship was created in memory of David M. Cavalieri, a 2012 graduate of Forest City Regional High School. David was a kind, compassionate, helpful, and athletic young man who left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

The scholarship is awarded to Forest City Regional senior student-athletes who participate in at least two varsity sports, maintain good academic standing, and embody the compassion and kindness that David showed throughout his life.

David was truly like a member of the McGovern family, and we love and miss him every day. One of the greatest joys of my life was coaching him in basketball alongside my son Jason from fifth through eighth grade. I loved him as if he were my own.

70 YEARS!!

It wasn’t too long ago, in the early 50's when Harold T McGovern and Paul McGovern Sr. decided to become independent insurance agents. Our agency has transformed considerably since then but we have not diverged from our roots.

To honor this milestone we chose to make a $500 donation to the Carbondale YMCA and our carrier partner, Selective Insurance matched our donation.

We’d like to thank our communities for trusting us for almost a century with their insurance needs. This would not be possible without our long term policyholders. The insurance industry is enduring a challenging time. We will get through it thanks to our amazing insureds and carrier partners!
