With SNAP benefits ending, Pastor Jamal Bryant of New Birth Church in Georgia announced that throughout November, church members will be asked to bring canned food instead of monetary tithes. This initiative aims to support families struggling amid the government shutdown, the SNAP benefits freeze, and rising unemployment.
