Not sure if I can post any pictures. But we are doing ok. House is pretty much ok. Some roof damage but no leaks. Lost the pool cage and cabana screens. Both mine and Ron’s car windshields got shattered. We have a TON of trees down. No water and of course no power. But we are better off than others!

On Memorial Day, we honor those who gave their lives in military service to our country.

The poppy is a symbol of remembrance for these men and women and the sacrifice they made on our behalf.

The reason poppies are used to remember those who have given their lives in battle is because they are the flowers that grew on the battlefields after World War One ended. This is described in the famous World War One poem In Flanders Fields.
