Yes, Lee Health just announced a contract dispute with UnitedHealthcare
No, nothing has changed today.
👉 Lee Health is still in-network.
👉 Nothing even potentially changes until January 1, 2027.
👉 They still have 4+ months to negotiate.
👉 And this MAY not even affect all UnitedHealthcare plans or networks, including some private plans. We're confirming exactly which products could be impacted. Most private plans are PPOs anyway, so you can go in or out of network!

Unfortunately, hospitals and insurance companies do this all the time... They negotiate, disagree, send scary letters, everyone panics… and then they keep negotiating. 🍿

So please, take a deeeeeeep breath and remember:

Don’t cancel your insurance.
Don’t cancel your appointments.
Don’t make an insurance decision based on an August headline.
And, most importantly, DON'T LISTEN TO ANOTHER INSURANCE BROKER TRYING TO SCARE YOU TO BUY THEIR PLANS! 🤬🤬
