One of the things we love most about what we do is the relationships we build along the way.

We get to know our clients, hear their stories, understand what they've been through, and in many cases, those clients become friends.

We've lived through enough hurricanes here in Florida to know that these storms are nothing to take lightly.

With a hurricane getting attention in the Gulf, it's another reminder of just how quickly things can change.

At Avengers Public Adjusters, we've seen firsthand what happens after a storm passes. Roof damage, flooding, water intrusion, and homeowners left trying to figure out what their insurance company is actually going to cover.

This is the stuff we catch when we actually get up there and look.

A roof can look fine from the ground, but once you get on it, it can be a completely different story.
We get on the ladder. We inspect the roof. We document the damage. Because if it isn’t seen and documented, how is it supposed to be part of your claim?

Don’t assume the insurance company caught everything. That’s why you want someone on your side looking just as closely.

This is why I tell homeowners not to assume the first number is the final number.

These homeowners had water damage to their floors, drywall and cabinets. Insurance came back around $12,800, but when we looked at what it was actually going to take to put their home back together, the numbers weren’t even close.

I went through the claim, documented what was missing and handled the negotiation with the insurance company.

We were able to get their claim from $12,800 to over $40,000.

That’s a difference of more than $27,000 for this family.

I’m sharing this because if you ever get an insurance check and something just doesn’t feel right, don’t assume that’s the end of it. Give me a call and let me take a look at it.
