Tradebank of Huntsville Welcomes New Regional Owner Andrew Harless

Tradebank is pleased to announce that Andrew Harless has purchased the Tradebank of Huntsville franchise and will serve as its new Regional Owner.

Andrew takes the reins from longtime Regional Owner Lisa Smith, who has built an engaged and loyal community of business owners throughout the Huntsville region. Lisa’s commitment to her clients and her ability to create strong relationships have been an important part of the region’s success, and we are incredibly grateful for the foundation she has built.

And while Lisa may be saying goodbye to her role in Huntsville, she isn’t going far.

At the beginning of this year, Lisa expanded her Tradebank journey by opening the Tradebank franchise in Mobile, Alabama, where she will continue to serve the Tradebank network as a Regional Owner. We’re excited to watch her take the experience and relationships she developed in Huntsville and use them to build another strong Tradebank community in Mobile.

As Huntsville begins its next chapter, we couldn’t be more excited to welcome Andrew!

Andrew has already spent time learning the Tradebank system, working with our team, and getting to know the business from both the sales and brokering sides.

“Andrew has a naturally welcoming personality that makes people feel comfortable almost immediately,” said Valerie Hale, CEO of Tradebank. “He has also picked up very quickly on how to effectively broker for our clients and how to sell the value of Tradebank. For Huntsville Tradebank clients, the transition represents both continuity and new opportunity. Andrew will continue Tradebank’s focus on helping local businesses conserve cash, attract new customers, and create new opportunities through relationships with businesses throughout the Tradebank network.

We are grateful to Lisa Smith for what she has built in Huntsville and excited to continue watching her grow Tradebank in Mobile, Alabama. And we are equally excited to welcome Andrew Harless as the new owner of Tradebank of Huntsville.

One of our favorite Tradebank stories comes from our CEO, Valerie.

Last month, Valerie's youngest daughter got married, and like most families planning a wedding, she got a reminder of just how expensive weddings can be.

Thankfully, Tradebank helped offset many of those costs.

That got her thinking about her own wedding nearly 30 years ago...

Almost everything was purchased through Tradebank: the dress, DJ, caterer, florist, invitations, venue, and cake.

The only thing they paid cash for?

The pastor.

And... the pastor didn't show up.

Thankfully, another pastor stepped in, the wedding went on, and almost 30 years later it's still one of Valerie's favorite Tradebank stories.

Maybe the lesson is this...

Sometimes trade turns out to be more reliable than cash. 😉
