There are a lot of people who make a difference in our community, and our teachers are right at the top of that list.

We were honored to provide lunch for the incredible faculty and staff at Hasty Elementary as they kicked off a new school year. Investing in the people who invest in our kids is something we care deeply about.

Thank you to the entire Hasty team for the love, patience, and encouragement you pour into your students every single day. We hope you have an amazing school year!

Back to school…back to school…

It’s that time of year again!

The kids are headed back to school, the parents are celebrating, and some days, I wish I could pull a Billy Madison and go back to do it all over again.

In honor of back-to-school season, we want to bless some of the people who make such a difference in our kids’ lives.

We’re giving away three $250 Amazon gift cards to three incredible teachers in our community.

Know a teacher who has made an impact? Maybe it’s your child’s teacher from last year. Maybe it’s the teacher who changed your life 20 years ago and is still going strong. Maybe it’s someone who always goes above and beyond and spends way too much of their own money on their classroom.

Nominate them using the form below.

Every nomination counts as another entry for that teacher, so if several people nominate the same teacher, their chances go up.

We just ask that you submit no more than one nomination per day, and let’s try to keep it to local nominations.

We’ll close nominations Friday at 12:00 PM, then draw three winning teachers and send each of them a $250 Amazon gift card to help stock their classroom, buy supplies, or use however they need.

Teachers pour so much into our kids. Let’s surprise a few of them with something special.

Backyard Masters Winner!

Small Business of the Year!

Gotta brag on my folks at Providence.

I get to be the face of the business, and I’ve been accused of slapping my face on anything with a flat surface, but these folks are the hands, feet, and backbone of the agency.

We all come from various business and insurance backgrounds, but one of the many things that connects us is a passion for doing what’s best for our clients and community at every given opportunity.

You guys as a community have been incredible to love and support our journey from a bootstrapped scratch agency less than 5 years ago to the team you see here.

We can’t thank you enough for that support and helping us get to do something we love every day, which is helping people.

Maybe it’s through insurance, maybe it’s through us connecting them with a friend in another industry…Whatever it is, we’re here to help.

Huge thank you to the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce, Pam & her team of amazing ladies.

When I started the first agency at age 22, I didn’t know where to start with getting plugged into the community. The Chamber’s programs and support of a young knucklehead that had no clue what he was doing, some would stay I still haven’t learned anything, have made an incredible difference in my life and the lives of the folks on this picture.

We can’t thank the Chamber enough for all the work they’ve done for 50+ years in supporting small businesses across our county. We’re absolutely a product of that support, and to whine much is given, much is required.
