Backyard Masters Winner!

Small Business of the Year!

Gotta brag on my folks at Providence.

I get to be the face of the business, and I’ve been accused of slapping my face on anything with a flat surface, but these folks are the hands, feet, and backbone of the agency.

We all come from various business and insurance backgrounds, but one of the many things that connects us is a passion for doing what’s best for our clients and community at every given opportunity.

You guys as a community have been incredible to love and support our journey from a bootstrapped scratch agency less than 5 years ago to the team you see here.

We can’t thank you enough for that support and helping us get to do something we love every day, which is helping people.

Maybe it’s through insurance, maybe it’s through us connecting them with a friend in another industry…Whatever it is, we’re here to help.

Huge thank you to the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce, Pam & her team of amazing ladies.

When I started the first agency at age 22, I didn’t know where to start with getting plugged into the community. The Chamber’s programs and support of a young knucklehead that had no clue what he was doing, some would stay I still haven’t learned anything, have made an incredible difference in my life and the lives of the folks on this picture.

We can’t thank the Chamber enough for all the work they’ve done for 50+ years in supporting small businesses across our county. We’re absolutely a product of that support, and to whine much is given, much is required.

We’re on a relentless mission to pay it forward and be a blessing to other businesses, organizations, and our clients.

Last week, we hosted our Providence Christmas party, and as I looked around the room, it hit me again why we set out to build this agency in the first place.

It was always a dream to create something we could share with our families… a place where our kids could run around, play games, laugh, and feel like they’re a part of what we’re building.

For the last several years, we’ve made it a point to have them there, big and small, soaking it all in. Building those relationships from a young age. Who knows…maybe one day they’ll work here, too.

Moments like these remind me that at the end of the day, we work for them.

Not just our own kids, but the children of the families we serve.

Everything we do at Providence comes back to that simple purpose:

Protect our clients’ dreams and help our kids chase their own.

I’m so incredibly grateful for this team, grateful for this community, and grateful for the chance to build something worth sharing with the people who matter most.

Couple of big shoutouts…

La Cantina Restaurant in Canton. They’re across the street from the office, and I eat there way too often. They hosted us, and the food, service, and atmosphere were amazing!

James Patrick Morgan did the music for us. He was incredible. Totally a one man full band, which was wild to watch. I kept turning around with each song because he was able to pull off like 8 different voices to fit each type of music. Super talented.
