I recently lost a deal.
And if I’m being honest… it stung.
You put in the work.
You show up.
You serve.
You care.
And sometimes the outcome still doesn’t go the way you hoped.
But here’s what I’ve learned:
Not every opportunity is ours to keep.
Sometimes we’re called into someone’s story for a specific reason—to encourage them, guide them, provide clarity, or help them take the next step. And sometimes the final chapter of that story belongs to someone else.
I don’t always like it, but I trust that the same God who orders my steps is doing the same for others.
That doesn’t make the disappointment disappear, but it does give it purpose.
Success isn’t always found in the deals we win.
Sometimes it’s found in how faithfully we serve when we don’t.
So if you’ve recently experienced a setback, lost an opportunity, or watched something you worked hard for go another direction, don’t quit.
Keep showing up.
Keep serving.
Keep trusting.
The right opportunities will never miss you. 🙏
