There are loan files.
There are transactions.
And then there are projects like this.
Today, one of my borrowers sent me these photos and simply said:
“It’s surreal seeing it come to fruition.”
And honestly? I felt that.
As a mortgage broker, people often see the paperwork, the approvals, the conditions, the phone calls, the deadlines, and the stress.
What they don’t always see is what happens after the closing table.
They don’t see the dream taking shape.
They don’t see a concrete slab transform into a vision.
They don’t see steel being raised against a Colorado sky, knowing that months ago it was simply an idea on paper and a borrower hoping someone would believe in it.
That’s why moments like this hit me right in the heart.
I take tremendous pride in being trusted with some of the biggest decisions people will ever make. Whether it’s a family’s first home, an investment property, a commercial project, or a business expansion, I’m not just financing a building- I’m helping finance someone’s future.
Watching this structure rise from the ground knowing I had a small part in helping make it possible is incredibly humbling.
I’ll never stop getting emotional when clients send updates like this.
Because behind every approval is a family, a dream, a risk taken, and a future being built.
To my borrowers- thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey and for sharing these photos with me. Seeing your vision become reality is exactly why I love what I do.
And yes… moments like this remind me that I’m pretty damn good at my job. ❤️
