Medicare Annual Enrollment is officially here! 🗓️

From October 15-December 7, Medicare beneficiaries have the opportunity to review their coverage and make changes for 2027.

Even if you're happy with your current plan, it's worth taking a closer look. Plan costs, covered prescriptions, provider networks, and benefits can change from year to year, and what worked for you in 2026 may not be the best fit moving forward.

October is a great time for a quick insurance check-in!

Not everything on this list will apply to everyone, but if one or two do, now is a good time to make sure you’re prepared before the season gets busier.

✅ Check your homeowners policy.
Take a look at your declarations page and make sure the information still reflects your home today. If you renovated, added something to the property, purchased valuable belongings or simply haven’t reviewed your coverage recently, it may be worth a conversation.

✅ Update any auto policy changes.
Did someone in your household start driving? Did a student leave for college? Has your commute, vehicle use or address changed? Keeping the information on your policy current helps make sure your coverage reflects how your vehicles are actually being used.

✅ Understand your flood coverage.
Standard homeowners insurance generally does not cover flooding. If you’re unsure what protection you have for water or flood-related losses, it’s better to understand the distinction before severe weather becomes an issue.

✅ Review your Medicare plan changes.
If you’re currently enrolled in Medicare, look for your Annual Notice of Change and review what may be different for the coming year. Medicare Open Enrollment runs October 15 through December 7, giving you an opportunity to review your current coverage and available options.

You don’t need to make changes just for the sake of making changes - sometimes a review simply confirms that what you already have still makes sense.

This full-time position supports our Personal Lines clients through policy service, coverage questions, claims support, documentation, renewals, and day-to-day client communication.

Compensation range: $45,000–$75,000 annually, based on experience.
