Celebrating 25 Years with Sarge! 🎉

This fall marks 25 years since Sarge Po***ck joined Jessie Insurance.

Looking back, Sarge credits Kimble with teaching him what it means to be an insurance agent. By watching Kimble, he learned the importance of consistently serving the people who trust Jessie Insurance with their protection.

As Sarge put it:
“It’s the relationship that separates us from doing insurance online or simply going wherever you can find the cheapest rate.”

Our team still remembers the height of Progressive’s Caveman campaign, when we posted this message on our agency sign:

“We don’t need a caveman. We have Sarge.”

It got plenty of laughs, but it also carried an important message. Sales fads and gimmicks come and go, but local people still want local agents they know, trust, and do life with.

Sarge has always enjoyed the competitive side of insurance. He loves the opportunity to show customers that Jessie Insurance can provide great coverage and competitive pricing while also delivering the personal service and support they deserve.

One of the things Sarge remembers most is when Kimble occasionally called him and Scott into the “principal’s office” when he felt they were getting off course. Kimble reminded them of what mattered most: taking care of our customers, providing for our families, and remaining true to the values on which the agency was built.

Those conversations weren’t always easy, but Sarge said they helped him and Scotty keep the main thing the main thing.

Sarge says Jessie Insurance has always felt like family and that these 25 years have been a joy.

For 25 years, Sarge has been our guy, serving as a trusted agent, teammate, and friend. We are grateful for the way he has rallied our team through the years and for being an insurance agent that our community knows and trusts.

What Stacy enjoys most about her job is "being able to meet clients' expectations of what they can afford with what they need."

It's likely that if you've had a claim in the last 24 years with us, you've encountered a familiar face: Annette Sprowles. She has been a part of our team since 2002!

When we asked Annette what her best advice was when you have a claim, she said to realize that it will be especially stressful at first, but it will work out, and that's what we are here for. Call or come see us; you aren't doing this alone.

One of our favorite office memories is when Annette took especially good care of a family dealing with a challenging claim. They were so thankful that they threw a pizza party for our entire office!

Annette shared that her favorite thing about working here for 24 years is that 'the people I work with are like my family, and the people we get to serve in this community are great folks.'

If Annette isn't working, she loves to be out in the yard, taking care of her flower gardens, or traveling with her husband, Mike, to see new places.
