Meet Andrea Grove, owner and founder of Elementary Coffee Co. Andrea opened Elementary at the Broad Street Market in 2014 with a simple idea: great coffee, roasted with care and served without the snobbery. Over a decade later, she roasts in small batches, brews by hand, and has grown Elementary into a downtown shop on North Street that she now proudly owns, plus a stand back at the Broad Street Market.

Michele Koch and Mechelle Webster loved the shop as customers. Then they became its owners. When founder Holly O’Connor was ready to retire, the two friends saw an opportunity to carry forward a business they already cared about.

Today, they continue the shop’s tradition of fresh coffee, loose leaf tea, and thoughtfully selected gifts.
