Cameron Crossroads Lions Club held its first service project today, an eye mission. We served 40 today with our eye mission, matching up most of them to a new pair of glasses. Great big thank you to Cameron United Methodist Church for hosting the event, and to all of the volunteers to help run the event!!

Congratulations to Hailey Fry, one of just 10 recipients of a Thrivent Generosity Hero Award. This award is a $1,500 award to be donated to the nonprofit of her choice. Hailey chose the Cameron United Methodist Church as her award recipient. Hailey has faithfully volunteered at Children's Mercy Hospital Gift Shop nearly every Thursday evening for the past 4 years.
