For those of you who have CA FAIR Plan:
There were a few good things announced today. Hopefully it helps make it a bit more "fair".
1. When you get your next renewal, it will include details about how your fire risk and corresponding rate are determined.
2. There will also be information about ways you may be able to improve or appeal your fire risk score to get a lower premium.
3. Pending Dept. of Insurance approval, there will soon be additional discounts available for things you do that make your home and surrounding area more fire safe.
