UPDATE - invites you to its upcoming Food for Good event THIS FRIDAY, August 28, 2026. In light of ongoing flood recovery efforts, the event will be benefitting Nettle Creek Community Coalition (by recommendation of Heart of Hagerstown). With ’s new Hagerstown Branch up and running, we’re excited to partner with the community to make an impact! 🎉
Here’s how it works:
1. Visit our Hagerstown location between 11am - 2pm and make a purchase from the food truck/vendor (Fatheadz Foodtruck).
2. Wayne Bank will make a $5 donation per transaction.*
(e.g. 100 transactions means a $500 donation!)
*Max donation of $2,500

Our Hagerstown and Cambridge City branches are open and ready to serve you. Both locations resumed normal business hours on Friday August 14th. The Cambridge City Drive thru and ATM are in service.

Good information to keep in mind as recovery from last week's flooding continues. Stay vigilant - many scammers use disasters and a sense of urgency to take advantage of victims. Remember to only use trusted communication methods and never share usernames, passwords, or authentication codes online or over phone/text. Stay tuned for more security tips in coming days. 🔒

Scammers often target communities after disasters, posing as government officials, contractors or charities. Common scams include fake contractors, FEMA impersonators, bogus charities, debris‑removal scams and rental scams.

Do not give money to anyone claiming to work for a government entity.

Protect yourself: Ask for ID, verify credentials, research charities and never pay in full upfront. Don’t share personal or financial information at the door, and don’t assume a logo or badge is legitimate.

Our continued thoughts & prayers are with our Town of Cambridge City, Indiana - our thanks and appreciation go out to those first responders working to keep the community safe. Out of an abundance of caution, we will be closing our Cambridge City branch tomorrow, Thursday, August 13th, 2026.
