At Lake Chem, we are continuously working to ensure our members' personal and financial information is protected. This Thursday, May 28th, we will be updating our online banking to change the way we challenge you to verify your identity to access your online account. To better protect your online information, we will no longer use challenge questions and will switch to MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication). You will need to ensure your online banking profile has the correct cell phone number to receive verification texts that allow you to access your online banking. You will not need to change your Logon ID or Security Code with this update. You will only need to verify the cell phone number you wish to receive your secure, one-time code for the MFA.

We have so many reasons to celebrate the success we've had over the past 55 years, and one of them is you! Join us at any of our locations, at any point during the day, for refreshments and giveaways! We will open with coffee and donuts at 9 a.m., lunch will be served at 11 a.m. thanks to our friends at Burgers on Wheels , and we will end the day with more light refreshments!

She is a Board Member at Marshall County Caring Needline, a member of the Calvert Area Development Association, and volunteers with many other organizations, like United Way. Jessica always finds a way to make our members and her coworkers laugh; her vibrant personality and sense of humor are a few reasons why we love her! Thank you, Chick-fil-A Kentucky Oaks Mall, for preparing all of the delicious boxed lunches for us to deliver! At Lake Chem, we are proud to support the people who work hard to serve our community and do many hours of thankless work behind the scenes to ensure our democracy thrives. A digital branch is more than a website; it is an extension of the service and care you would get walking into any of our branches in person. You can open accounts, check rates, and apply for loans quickly and securely. The only service our new website won't be able to do is dispense cash to you from your phone!

We finished a week of career fairs today at Sharpe Elementary School! πŸ“š

We were able to tell students about the difference between credit unions and banks, basic financial literacy skills, and the different jobs within our credit unions! Credit unions are built on a people-helping-people philosophy, and that applies to even the littlest people in our community! πŸ–οΈ
