What started in Life and Health insurance slowly expanded, and in 1983 Jerry purchased the Property/Casualty portion of the business. In 1990 the business was moved from the basement office of Jerry's home to the current address of 111 E Kimball St. in downtown Callaway NE. Jerry retired in 1997 and sold the Agency to his son Randy who still own the business to this day.

Our Story

The company was founded by Jerrold R. Meyer who started out selling life and health insurance door to door in 1962. In 1983, Jerry went on to purchase the property/casualty portion of the business that had been run from the local bank.

After Jerry's retirement in 1997, the second generation of ownership began after his son, Randy Meyer, decided to take ownership and purchase the business.

Randy's son, Zach Meyer, purchased the property/casualty business in 2019.

The Meyer family has been insuring Callaway and its surrounding areas for over 50 years, stretching three generations. We hope to continue to provide quality products and services for years to come.
