"The aviation industry was unprepared for the conflict that led to 500 western-built planes leased to Russia being seized by Vladimir Putin's government within days of the war commencing. The value of these aircraft is estimated at $12-$15 billion."

The Ukraine war will impact the market for years to come, with insurers expecting aircraft insurance premiums and aviation insurance costs to increase.

Ouch! If you own a SR22T, make sure you read the below article!

"According to a report issued on April 12 by the NTSB, the six accidents were the result of excessive fuel flow in the SR22T, which caused engine failure during climb out."

The agency cites excessive fuel from the electric boost pump as a causal factor in six accidents involving the aircraft.
