The Simple List Clients Should Use — and Producers Should Teach
Why This Checklist Exists
Most people only think about insurance when they buy a car, a house, or an RV — because someone at the dealership or closing table forces the conversation.
But 95% of life events that change risk don’t come with an insurance checklist.
That’s where we come in.

This checklist helps insureds know exactly when to call their agent — and helps producers know exactly what to ask during reviews.

Producer Use: How to Teach This Checklist
Your script:
“Most people don’t know when insurance needs to be updated — and that’s normal.
If any of these life events happen, just call me. Even if you’re not sure it matters, call me anyway. I’ll tell you in 30 seconds.”

Your annual review question:
“Since we last talked, has anything changed in your household, your home, your vehicles, your job, or your plans?”

Your renewal email attachment:
“Here’s your Life Events Checklist — keep it handy. It’ll save you headaches later.”
