Canyon County Farm Bureau Federation and Idaho Farm Bureau Federation lost a real voice of agriculture. Shane was always on the farmers side. All of us on the Canyon County Farm Bureau Federation board were honored to serve with him. Prayers to his wife Becky and his family. He will be missed by so many. Shane had a huge heart, laughed easily and loved his agriculture way of life. But most importantly he cherished his wife, Becky, and their family.

Shane was born on September 3rd, 1973 and passed away on November 19th, 2025 at the age of 52

April shower bring May flowers! As you know, each year the Canyon County Farm Bureau Federation (CCFBF) celebrates National Agriculture Day by welcoming & gifting the first baby born in Canyon County with gifts galore!

But this is year when CCFBF Board learned that the 2nd baby born in Canyon County was born only 2 hours after the 1st baby, they decided to award the 2nd baby as well!

The Roblero Family welcomed, Damian, a handsome baby boy into their family at 4:27 AM on March 19. Damian has three older sisters who can’t spoil him enough. Congratulations Roblero Family and thank you for letting us celebrate you.

In all ways, Canyon County Farm Bureau Federation celebrate National AG Day everyday and we are grateful for all who are involved in agriculture. From the farmer who plants and cares for the crops from start to finish; to the agriculture processors & salesman; mechanics who keep equipment running properly; workers who help with planting, watering, & harvesting; and to the consumer who purchases the healthy, safe and nutrient rich food that is grown right here in beautiful Canyon County as well as all over the world.

Happy National AG Day! Canyon County Farm Bureau Federation celebrated by welcoming & gifting the first baby born in Canyon County with gifts galore! The Adelin Family welcomed a beautiful baby girl into their family at 2:48 AM. She is #10 in her family! Congratulations Adelin Family and thank you for letting us celebrate you today. Evan Michelson placing 4th in arc welding Landry Kukla was 6th in small engines.

Canyon County Farm Bureau celebrates National Agriculture Day each year by gifting the 1st baby born within Canyon County with more than $600 in baby gifts. Congratulations to baby Lincoln, for being this year’s Canyon County Ag Baby!! We couldn’t be more excited for him and his parents, Travis and Shari. We wish you all the happiness. Thank you to West Valley Medical Center for your help in making the gift drop off possible.
National Agriculture Day recognizes and celebrates the producers of our abundance of nutrient dense and safe food. The Canyon County Farm Bureau Federation encourages our fellow Treasure Valley consumers to reach out to your neighboring producers “our farmers, ranchers, dairymen” to learn more about production agriculture.
