Hayden That Young Insurance Dude

Let’s hear it! At what age is it acceptable to boot your kids from your car insurance?

Asking a potential client about their prior claims history, knowing they already have 3 at-fault accidents and 2 speeding tickets in the last 2 years, and likely should be riding a bicycle instead of driving a car…

Said client answering my question pretending they have a clean driving record 👇

A quick reminder with this freak storm going on!

If you have questions about potential claims, message me first BEFORE calling your insurance and we can talk about your specific situation.

Yes, it sucks. Yes, it’s annoying. Yes, it happens more than you know 👎

Unpaid home insurance claims can hurt your future ability to get insurance. Having an agent you trust that will work FOR you, not against you, is a blessing 🙏

The 100 Deadliest Days of Summer Are Here

1. 🚗 Put the phone away. Texting or scrolling for even a few seconds can have life-changing consequences.
2. 🪑 Wear your seat belt—every trip, every seat. Make sure every passenger is buckled up before the vehicle moves.
3. ⚡ Slow down. Speeding dramatically reduces your reaction time and increases the severity of crashes.
4. 🚫 Never drive impaired. Alcohol, drugs, and even some medications can affect your ability to drive safely.
5. 😴 Don’t drive drowsy. If you’re exhausted, pull over or switch drivers.
6. 👀 Watch for motorcycles, bicycles, and pedestrians. Summer means more people are outside sharing the road.
7. 🚧 Use extra caution in construction zones. Expect lane shifts, reduced speeds, and workers near traffic.
8. 🚙 Limit distractions inside the car. Food, loud conversations, pets, and GPS adjustments can all take your attention off the road.
9. 👥 Parents: Talk to your teen drivers. Set expectations for speed, passengers, phone use, and curfews before handing over the keys.
10. ❤️ Remember: Getting there safely matters more than getting there quickly.

Your local State Farm agent might need a hug 🥰

State Farm has told its 19,000 agents it is changing its compensation and benefits contract for them. The Bloomington-based company is also cutting benefits for retired agents.

Friendly reminder that AFTER you have a $10,000 claim filed against your business is NOT the time to think about buying an insurance policy 🥴

Watched a house in my neighborhood burn down today. 50% of the House, the car, & the camper all gone. The homeowner was surrounded by the fire department, multiple restoration companies hounding them for business, and of course lots of neighbors.

During what many would consider a worst nightmare, this is where you need a great insurance agent, that you trust, to have your back and make sure everything gets lined up to get you back on your feet. If you’ve got a 1-800 # insurance company, or aren’t confident your agent has your back if you need them, you owe it to yourself & your family to give me a call and make sure you have the coverage that will ACTUALLY help you.
