What a cool idea! I could see a much smaller/simpler version of this working super well with a tiny house. Perhaps park a tiny house outside for more fresh air and greenhouse garden space in the summer, and park inside for the heat in the winter! So many possibilities.

This is an interesting article about a woman in Nova Scotia who built (most of) an off the grid tiny house near the beach but abandoned the project when the government shut her down. Her sin? Not having electricity she was unable to comply with a new building code saying all homes must have hard wired fire alarms!

Makes me wonder about others I know in PEI and elsewhere with rustic summer homes/cabins/camps without traditional electrical service. Clearly it's a regulation that needs a process for allowing variances!
